About the program

Learn about automotive technology over the summer at one of Germany's best universities for mechanical engineering. Through this 11-week program, students will have the chance to discover trends in automotive development, put theory into practice and work with cutting edge technology in TU Darmstadt's engineering labs, conduct a research project together with German students, and learn about German culture through various activities and cultural experiences.

Who can go?

  • All applicants must meet Go Global eligibility requirements
  • You must have a cumulative average of 3.0/4.0 (~73%) to participate in this program
  • You must have driver's license that will be valid in Germany (US/Canadian driver’s license are usually valid)
  • Upper-level undergraduate/graduate students with interest in automative technologies preferred

Beyond tuition, the 2025 AESG program will include a program fee of $4400, which includes housing, public transportation, intercultural training and organized trips
