- When selecting courses, ensure that they are available in the semester for which you are applying
Course equivalency Formula
- Wollongong credit points x 5/8 = UBC credits
- For example: 8 points = 5 UBC credits
Course load Information
- Normal full-time load 24 credit points per session
- Minimum full time load (for student visa) 18 credit points per session
- 100 level Wollongong subjects - First year students
- 200 level Wollongong subjects - Second year students
- 300 level Wollongong subjects - Third year students
- 400 level Wollongong subjects - Honours students
- 800 and 900 level Wollongong subjects - Postgraduate students
Transfer credit
The transfer credit process takes approximately 16 weeks following each submission deadline. You should allow sufficient time to meet important deadlines that may affect you (e.g. application for graduation, registration in courses that require prerequisites that you took on exchange, entry to a major/honours program, etc.)
