Course availability and restrictions
- Most Students Participate in the Osaka University Short-term Student Exchange Program (OUSSEP) (see here)
- If a student wants to take regular university courses (non-OUSSEP) then they must be proficient in Japanese (in the Regular Class Course, overseas students enroll as special auditor students in regular courses taught in Japanese)
- Sauder students take courses from the School of Economics at Osaka University and may take courses from the OUSSEP Program, but may not be able to participate in OUSSEP activities. Activities are available through the School of Economics.
- When selecting courses, ensure that they are available in the semester for which you are applying
Course equivalency Formula
- Same as UBC credits
Transfer credit
The transfer credit process takes approximately 16 weeks following each submission deadline. You should allow sufficient time to meet important deadlines that may affect you (e.g. application for graduation, registration in courses that require prerequisites that you took on exchange, entry to a major/honours program, etc.)
