Course availability and restrictions
- Bachelor students who have already finished three years of their bachelor degree at home are welcome to choose master courses, as long as they choose two bachelor courses as well
- Along with commerce courses, students may be eligible to take some limited courses in Community and Regional Planning, Environmental Sciences, Law and Social Sciences
Course equivalency Formula
- ECTS credits divided by 2 = UBC credits
Course load Information
- Full workload: 30 ECTS credits (4 courses) per semester
- 7,5 ECTS course = 45 hours of lecture time
Transfer credit
The transfer credit process takes approximately 16 weeks following each submission deadline. You should allow sufficient time to meet important deadlines that may affect you (e.g. application for graduation, registration in courses that require prerequisites that you took on exchange, entry to a major/honours program, etc.)

- NHH offers two Norwegian language courses for foreign students, each worth 7,5 ECTS
- Level I: Written and oral exam, grading based on pass/fail
- Level II: Written and oral exam, grading scale A-F
