  • UBC Term 1 (ESSEC semester 1): Early September - late December
  • UBC Term 2 (ESSEC semester 2): Late February - mid June
  • UBC Full Year (ESSEC semester 1 +2): September - June

As of Spring 2020, the ESSEC Singapore campus is open to exchange students. The ESSEC Singapore campus is only available for Term 2 exchanges.

Partner Course Information

Course equivalency Formula

  • ECTS credits divided by 2 = UBC credits

Course load Information

  • Minimum: 15 ECTS / semester
  • Maximum: 30 ECTS / semester
  • Full time course load for regular students: 30 ECTS per semester

Transfer credit

The transfer credit process takes approximately 16 weeks following each submission deadline. You should allow sufficient time to meet important deadlines that may affect you (e.g. application for graduation, registration in courses that require prerequisites that you took on exchange, entry to a major/honours program, etc.)

Additional note for language of instruction

  • Incoming exchange students work with 3rd and 4th year undergraduates and have a choice of management classes taught in French and/or English
  • It is possible to take a study program taught entirely in English
  • Students must have at least a B1 or B2 level to study in French (please self-asses with: European Language Portfolio Global Scale)
