Who can go?

  • All applicants must meet Go Global eligibility requirements
  • COMM (UBCV) students are eligible to apply to study at the business school
  • Arts students in Political Science, Economics and International Relations can take courses in ESADE's new Bachelor of Global Governance, Economics and Legal Order program
  • Exchange students are required to take the seminar "Espana y Catalunya" as a brief introduction to their host country and region
  • Courses include case studies, discussions, management

  • UBC Term 2 (ESADE Semester 2): Late January to Early June

Course load Information

  • Exchange students should take 27-30 ECTS per semester

Transfer credit

The transfer credit process takes approximately 16 weeks following each submission deadline. You should allow sufficient time to meet important deadlines that may affect you (e.g. application for graduation, registration in courses that require prerequisites that you took on exchange, entry to a major/honours program, etc.)

Additional note for language of instruction

  • Business courses primarily taught in English
  • Bachelor of Global Governance, Economics and Legal Order is taught in English
  • Students must have at least a B2 level to study in Spanish (please self-assess with the: European Language Portfolio Global Scale)
  • ESADE offers exchange students a free one-month Spanish language course

Finances and funding

While you’re learning abroad, you remain a UBC student and are eligible for UBC awards, scholarships, and financial assistance.
