Course availability and restrictions
- Some courses with capacity limit do not accept exchange students
- For pre-requisite required courses, students must have taken courses considered equivalent to the pre-requisite
- Applied Science Students: Exchange students attached to College of Science and Engineering (CSE) are required to take a minimum of 9 credit units from courses offered by departments of CS
- Commerce Students: Aside from business courses, students will also have access to Mandarin and Cantonese courses
- Commerce Students: Minimum 50% of course load must be business courses from the college of business

Transfer credit
The transfer credit process takes approximately 16 weeks following each submission deadline. You should allow sufficient time to meet important deadlines that may affect you (e.g. application for graduation, registration in courses that require prerequisites that you took on exchange, entry to a major/honours program, etc.)
