About the program

The Center for Japanese Language Education at Kwansei Gakuin University invites students from partner institutions to participate in the Intensive Japanese Language and Culture Study Program held each summer and winter. This three-week program aims to enhance Japanese language proficiency and deepen cultural understanding through various activities. Classes cater to three levels: Beginner, Elementary, and Intermediate, featuring interactive sessions with KGU students who assist international participants. Beyond language instruction, the program includes immersive cultural experiences such as Japanese Culture Study classes, traditional arts workshops, and a field trip to historical sites like Kyoto.

More specific and finalized program details can be found on the partner institution's website. However, you must apply through Go Global to be considered for this program and ensure you follow the appropriate transfer credit process.
