Approval for registration into graduate courses

  • Students (undergraduate and graduate) wishing to take graduate courses are required to complete the online form.
  • If you would like to take graduate courses, you must first get the instructor’s permission. A month before arrival, contact the instructors of courses you are interested in taking. Send the instructor an email introducing yourself, providing your academic background and anything else that prepares you for the course. You can usually find the instructor's email on the course page in the course schedule. If this information is not yet available, email the department program coordinator.
  • If the instructor agrees to let you take the course, ask them to sign this form (digital signatures are acceptable). Then obtain signatures from the Graduate Advisor of the department offering the course, as well as the Faculty of Graduate Studies. Once you have all three signatures, send the completed form to Go Global so we can register you for the course.
