- Find courses taught in French (offered by the DEFLE department): Students coming to study French as a foreign language or languages (Lettres Modernes, Langues Etrangères Appliquées, etc.) can choose several French as a Foreign Language courses according to their level. Students coming to study another discipline (history, psychology, etc.) can choose only one FLE course: B1, B2 or C1.

Course equivalency Formula
- ECTS credits divided by 2 = UBC credits
Transfer credit
The transfer credit process takes approximately 16 weeks following each submission deadline. You should allow sufficient time to meet important deadlines that may affect you (e.g. application for graduation, registration in courses that require prerequisites that you took on exchange, entry to a major/honours program, etc.)

Additional note for language of instruction
- Students with at least a B2 level may take French-taught courses (self-assess with the: European Language Portfolio Global Scale)
- Most courses are taught in French
- Some departments offer courses taught in English (including history and English studies)
