Who can go?
- Students in the following faculties are eligible to apply: ARTS, LFS (some sustainability courses), and Commerce (UBCV) students
- All students (except Law) must be in at least their third year while on the exchange
- Exchange students attending Sciences Po can choose between 7 regional campuses

Course availability and restrictions
- Students are highly encouraged to take a French language class
- Students wishing to take a language class in another foreign language must have previously studied the language
- Incoming students can enroll in any of the numerous classes offered at Sciences Po, according to their personal interests and their home university’s requirements
- Graduate exchange students must be attached to a specific Masters programme and may not take courses in different Masters programmes - some graduate courses are not open to exchange students and some others may demand academic or language prerequisites

- The Reims campus offers mostly English-taught courses. For examples of courses, please see this page.
- Law students will be admitted into the Master in Economic Law program at Sciences Po (see here)
Course equivalency Formula
- ECTS credits divided by 2 = UBC credits
Course load Information
- Maximum: 30 ECTS credits per semester
- There is the possibility for students to take a 6th class, either in French language or in French civilisation
Transfer credit
The transfer credit process takes approximately 16 weeks following each submission deadline. You should allow sufficient time to meet important deadlines that may affect you (e.g. application for graduation, registration in courses that require prerequisites that you took on exchange, entry to a major/honours program, etc.)

- Undergraduate and graduate exchange students can take courses taught in French, in English or in a mixture of both French and English (More information)
- Limited number of English courses available
- Students must have at least a B2 level to study in French (self-assess with: European Language Portfolio Global Scale)
