Academic planning
Term dates
- UBC Term 1 (CBS Quarter 1 and 2): Late August to late December
- usually exams in December for courses taught in English
- UBC Term 1 (CBS Quarter 3 and 4): Late January to late June
- UBC Full Year (CBS Quarter 1-4): August - June
*A mandatory orientation program occurs at the beginning of both semesters

Course equivalency Formula
- ECTS credits divided by 2 = UBC credits
Course load Information
- Minimum: 30 ECTS per semester (e.g. four courses of 7.5 ECTS each or two courses of 7.5 ECTS each plus one course of 15 ECTS)
- According to CBS, exchange students must take a full course load as it's a requirement of the Danish immigration service
Transfer credit
The transfer credit process takes approximately 16 weeks following each submission deadline. You should allow sufficient time to meet important deadlines that may affect you (e.g. application for graduation, registration in courses that require prerequisites that you took on exchange, entry to a major/honours program, etc.)

- Danish Crash Course offered the week prior to Introduction Week at reduced fee
