Who can go?
- You need a minimum cumulative average of 72% to attend this partnership
- Students who wish to attend Monash on exchange are also given the option of attending their campus in Malaysia (all applications are administered through Monash Australia)
- Students planning to go on exchange for two semesters can complete one semester at both campuses.
- It is recommended to study in Australia first, and then Malaysia - students will apply to Australia, and Monash's Australia office will help you apply to Malaysia for the second semester.

Course load Information
- Average load: 24 credit points (four units/subjects)
- 18 credit points (three units/subjects) is permitted
- Maximum load: 24 credit points per semester
Transfer credit
The transfer credit process takes approximately 16 weeks following each submission deadline. You should allow sufficient time to meet important deadlines that may affect you (e.g. application for graduation, registration in courses that require prerequisites that you took on exchange, entry to a major/honours program, etc.)
