Course availability and restrictions

  • Exchange students will need to make a preliminary module selection on their application form and final module registration will take place during the first week of the term
  • Exchange Students are also eligible to take our 2 cultural elective modules (further details of these classes will be provided during orientation)
  • When selecting courses, ensure that they are available in the semester for which you are applying
  • Arts Students Students will need to provisionally select their modules before arrival. Applicants will receive a list of available
    modules upon receipt of the application.
  • Arts students will register for courses in the School of Communication & Creativity, the School of Policy & Global Affairs or the Department of Psychology
  • Commerce students will register for courses in the Bayes Business School

Course equivalency Formula

  • 4 City U of London credits = 1 UBC credit
  • 15 City credits = 7.5 ECTS

Course load Information

  • It is recommended that students take 4 -5 modules per term for a full course load

Transfer credit

The transfer credit process takes approximately 16 weeks following each submission deadline. You should allow sufficient time to meet important deadlines that may affect you (e.g. application for graduation, registration in courses that require prerequisites that you took on exchange, entry to a major/honours program, etc.)
