About the program

Supported by the University of Capetown's International Office, Global Learning Programs offer short-term standardized programmes for students looking for immersive experiences and a memorable learning journey in Cape Town.

For 2025 Summer, three standardised programmes are available:

  • Global Academy: Afropolitanism, Social Justics and Social Entrepreneurship (four-week program). Suitable for students interested in global citizenship
  • Sustainable Water Management: Managing complexity in the Global Water Landscape in and Age of Uncertainty (two-week program). Suitable for students interested in envrionmental sustainability
  • Society, Language and the Arts: Exploring the Diversity of South African Culture in Cape Town (two-week program). Suitable for students interested in learning more about South African culture and history.

More specific and finalized program details can be found on the partner institution's website. However, you must apply through Go Global to be considered for this program and ensure you follow the appropriate transfer credit process.
